Our core teachings and practices

We offer guidance and resources to help practitioners deepen their understanding of Buddhist Dharma books and meditation. Our services also include introducing serious Buddhists to authentic Tibetan Lamas, assisting them in finding a genuine guru for Vajrayana Buddhism practice. Our mission is to facilitate a path for spiritual seekers.

The essence of the Kagyu lineage

The Kagyu lineage, one of the four principal schools of Tibetan Buddhism, is renowned for its emphasis on deep meditative practice and the unbroken oral transmission of teachings from master to disciple. This "Lineage of Oral Instructions" traces its origins back to the Indian masters Tilopa and Naropa, highlighting a continuous thread of wisdom. The Kagyu teachings primarily focus on the realization of Mahamudra, or "The Great Seal," which is the direct insight into the nature of mind, and the Six Yogas of Naropa. This tradition strongly advocates for disciplined meditation retreats and solitary practice to achieve profound spiritual understanding. His Holiness Karmapa 17th Trinley Dorje currently serves as the spiritual head of the Karma Kagyu lineage, a rich Buddhist school with a history spanning approximately 900 years in Tibet.

"NimbusCompassion.BoDeQuang provides invaluable resources and guidance for anyone on a spiritual path. Their dedication to the Kagyu lineage is truly inspiring."
